Dress Code

Playing on Wimbledon Common is a unique privilege and it comes with one unmistakable tradition, everyone must wear a pillar-box red top while on the course, as required by the bylaws.

Don’t worry if you’ve left yours at home, the Pro Shop has a great range of red shirts starting from £15, plus hire tops from £5.

To keep things smart and safe:

• Golf shoes and caps are not allowed in the Clubhouse

• If you’re wearing shorts, sports socks must be worn and pulled up

• Golf sweaters, waterproofs, and outerwear should also be pillar-box red

• No denim or hooded tops are allowed on the course
